Credits, cancellation and refund policy
This policy explains how plan and top-up credits work, when credits are used, what happens when generation fails and how to request a refund.
Last updated: September 3, 2026
1. What a credit is
A credit is a unit of use within KDP Coloring Book Studio. It is not money, virtual currency, an investment or a financial instrument. It does not earn interest, cannot be resold or transferred between accounts and cannot be redeemed for cash, except when a refund is required under this policy or applicable law.
2. Free plan
Each account can generate one free watermarked book of up to 24 pages and up to three free style previews. This allowance is per account and does not renew periodically. Completely failed jobs do not consume the free-book allowance.
3. Subscription credits
- The Weekly plan includes 40 credits per weekly period and may include a 7-day free trial when shown at checkout.
- Hobbyist includes 80 credits per monthly period.
- Author includes 200 credits per monthly period when the plan is available.
- Publisher includes 400 credits per monthly period.
- At the beginning of each new paid period, the plan-credit balance is replaced by the plan allowance. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
4. Top-up credits
Top-ups are one-time purchases available only to active subscribers. They are added to the account balance and do not expire while the account exists.
The system uses plan credits first and top-up credits second. If you cancel or allow your subscription to expire, remaining top-ups stay available and can be used until exhausted. You need an active subscription to purchase new top-ups.
5. Current cost per action
The final cost is shown in the interface or MCP quote before you confirm an action. We may change future costs to reflect new features or operating costs, but we will show the applicable price before each use.
- Generate, regenerate or retry a page: 1 credit.
- Edit a page: 2 credits.
- Generate a front-matter page, such as copyright or coloring tips: 2 credits.
- Generate the initial cover set: 3 credits.
- Edit a cover or regenerate one cover variant: 2 credits.
- Suggest or improve a style: 1 credit per generation.
- Generate the A+ module set: 3 credits. Regenerating one module costs 1 credit and editing one costs 2 credits.
6. When credits are used or restored
Credits may be reserved or deducted when generation begins. If an operation fails or is aborted because of a service error and the charged result is not delivered, the system automatically restores the applicable credits. The restoration appears in credit history.
A successfully generated result uses the displayed credits even if you prefer a different style or decide not to use it. You may start an edit or regeneration at the displayed cost. This does not limit legal remedies for a defective service.
7. Subscriptions and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the cadence shown at checkout until canceled. You can cancel from the billing section. Cancellation prevents future renewals, and the plan remains active until the end of the paid period unless applicable law or the payment provider requires otherwise.
When the period ends, unused plan credits are no longer available. If you have top-up credits, you can keep using the features covered by that balance until it is exhausted. Books created as paid jobs retain clean export access.
8. Commercial guarantee and right of withdrawal
We offer a 14-day commercial guarantee on the first paid subscription. If your first book is not ready for KDP export because of a service problem, you may request a refund of the first payment by contacting support within 14 calendar days after the charge. This guarantee is available once per person and account and does not limit other legal rights.
Where the right of withdrawal under Colombian law applies, you may request it within five business days after entering the contract. The law includes exceptions, including services that began with the consumer's agreement and goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. We will assess each request based on the service actually started or consumed and applicable mandatory rights.
When an ecommerce withdrawal applies and you provide the correct information needed to process it, we will return funds to the original payment method or an agreed method within the applicable legal period, currently no more than fifteen calendar days.
9. Duplicate charges, fraud and defective service
If you identify a duplicate charge, unauthorized transaction, missing purchased credits or defective service, contact support promptly. We will investigate payment records and credit history. Where appropriate, we will restore credits or return funds to the payment method used.
10. How to request help or a refund
Email caarbela99@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. Include the date, plan or top-up, transaction identifier and job identifier if one exists. Do not send passwords, tokens or complete card details.
You can also find official Colombian consumer information at https://www.sic.gov.co/.
