AI coloring book generators for KDP (2026), compared
Which AI tools turn a theme into a coloring book ready for Amazon KDP? Of the 10 we checked on their own pages, seven cover the whole job (line art, a print interior and a full paperback cover): KDP Coloring Book Studio, kdpbook.io, KDP Builder, KDPEasy, Create Coloring Books AI, Book Bolt and Book2Color. KDP Tools and MyColoring.AI cover part of it, and ColorBliss makes single pages rather than KDP books. Where they really differ is trim sizes, one-sided pages, how the cover is made, what else they export and the price. Among the tools that deliver the full KDP book and publish their per-page cost, KDP Coloring Book Studio is the cheapest: a book of 24 designs with its cover costs $3.31 to $4.73, and you can start with $7. It is also the only one whose pages document an MCP server, so AI agents such as Claude can create the book for you, and a book takes about 2 minutes on average.

What to compare in an AI coloring book tool
A coloring book that sells on KDP is more than nice pages. These are the six things we checked for every tool.
1. Line art that holds together
Clean black-and-white outlines in one style from the first page to the last, so the book feels like a book and not a pile of prompts.
2. An interior KDP accepts
The trim size you want, bleed and margins already set, and one design per sheet with a blank back so markers don't bleed through.
3. A cover that sells and passes KDP
One print file with back, spine and front, a spine sized from the page count, a clear barcode area and a title you can still read as a small Amazon thumbnail.
4. The rest of the listing
Title, description, keywords and categories, plus extras like front-matter pages or A+ Content, so you're not finishing the job in three other tools.
5. Price and rights
What one finished book really costs, what the free trial lets you test, and on which plan you're allowed to sell what you make.
6. Who is behind it
A tool made by someone who publishes on KDP too, shows real books and shares what worked and what didn't is easier to trust than a feature list.

What one book costs
Entry prices hide how much one finished book costs. We worked it out from each tool's published prices: every page kept on the first try, the cheapest plan that lets you sell, the cover included where the tool makes one. KDP's minimum paperback is 24 printed pages, which is 12 designs when each one has a blank back.
